The argentinian "maquina verde" is back! After "leaving" the Clausura 2006 tournament to San Lorenzo (click here for more details) the Facundo Ruscica's boys did one more impressive mid-season "deleting" the top clubs competition with an endless series of clear victories. No defeat, no tie: Pinocho just know how to win. The day after the hard victory on the Argentinos' pitch (given by a single goal of Maximiliano "Maxi" Rescia at minute 30'), due to the concomitant lost matches of River Plate and Independiente, the white and green squad could start the title's party.

A deserved triumph for a team full of stars, starting from Santiago Elias and Sebastian Corazza, following with Mauro Riente and Jose Luis Costas and the rest of the impressive roster.

Pinocho has now the chance to end the Apertura tournament with the perfect record of 17 victories in the same number of games, exactly what happened in the Apertura 2005 tournament (click on this link to know more).

Pinocho Tetracampeón

El conjunto de Villa Urquiza se consagró tetracampeón del Futsal argentino luego de vencer a Argentinos Juniors 1 a 0 y que sus perseguidores Independiente y River no pudieran ganar ante 17 de Agosto y Lamadrid, respectivamente.

Pinocho salió campeón dos fechas antes del Apertura, en el cual ganó los quince partidos que disputó. La campaña en estos últimos tres años asombra, desde agosto de 2004 (quinta fecha del Clausura), los “verdes” de Urquiza jugaron 96 partidos, ganaron 84, empataron 10 y perdieron sólo 2.

Del 12 al 18 de noviembre, disputará la Copa Libertadores de América en Jaraguá do Sul, Brasil, donde intentará mejorar el tercer puesto logrado el año pasado.

Basado en un juego eficaz y con notoria superioridad sobre el resto, Pinocho consiguió una supremacía en el Futsal argentino. De la mano de la conducción técnica de Facundo Ruscica y sus colaboradores (Ezequiel Gazzo PF, Gonzalo Borena PF, Mariano De Llamas –kinesiólogo-, Aldo Llermano –médico-, Javier romero –DT 3ra-) y los dirigentes: Carlos Mango, Sergio Fernández, Carlos Riente y Rubén Elías.
