Indoor futsal league will be offered

Registration for the Carson City Parks and Recreation women's indoor futsal league has been set.

Signups will be held Monday through Friday, August 13-24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center office.

League play will be held on Friday and Saturday nights at the Carson City Recreation Gym. Five-person teams will play two 20-minute halves.

There can be up to 12 players per team with unlimited substitutions. Futsal Federation rules will be used. Players must be at least 16 by September 1.

The cost is $300 per team for 12 games. The fee must be paid at registration and checks should be made payable to Carson City.

Each team will also have to pay a $20 officials fee at the beginning of each game. For more information, call Joel Dunn, 887-2290, extension 104.
