The Futsal League 2002 kicked off with LIVE SMACKDOWN ! action from Sports Barn in PJ, at 9pm sharp.

Waja FC went on a rampage against Sallfa De FC, smashing them into oblivion with a badminton like result, 13-4. Sivam leads the top scorer charts now with his five goals against the hapless Sallfa defence. Craig, Vincent & Orlando all bagged doubles, as they saw off the challenge from Sallfa early. SMACKDOWN action kicked off yesterday between Chailuzz and JgnTakIngat. However, it was certainly a night that JgnTakIngat would like to erase, as Chailuzz showed who's the boss. They move into second behind Waja, at the end of Round 1 in Group B. Fafaz somehow squeezed out a tight victory over the boys from Oceans Eleven, 4-3, with Aziz netting the all important goal after early goals from him, Azam & Khairul. Alan, Dinesh and Lee replied for the Ocean boys. The final match from SMACKDOWN's Group B action between Total FC and Jelong, was certainly entertaining and nail biting. Total took the early lead with Irman's superb effort, but within minutes Jo responded for Jelong. Irman then netted another to put Total in firm control, but late efforts from Khairi to equalise and Daniel win the winner, ensured the three points for Jelong.
