One more title for Futsal Topsport Antwerpen! The Belgian new season was opened this evening, August 31st, by the national supercup 2007/2008, which was characterized by an interesting challenge between the Cup holder Charleroi Action 21 and the national champion Forcom Antwerpen Elite. After the summer merger with Borgerhout the Antwerpen side could immediately celebrate the first triumph and will now travel towards Hungary in order to take place in the UEFA Futsal Cup Main Round (Group in Godollo, against the host club Megatherm, Athina '90 and Municipium Pljevlja).

Charleroi Action 21, which could not yet count on the new brazilian Adolfo (former Sporting CP), was defeated by an extra time goal scored by the Dutch international player Abdellah "Appie" Idlaasri, who made unuseful the Betinho's double for the Vavadio's guys.
