On September 3rd the first stage of the
AMF World Futsal Championship currently in progress in Mendoza (Argentina) ended qualifying eight clubs for the quarter finals (that in the meanwhile were already played on the 5th, with Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay and Perù entering the semifinals level). Curious to see that some national selections are playing with FIFA competitions players, with special refer to the
Colombian selection which is almost the same team "working" in FIFA futsal environment, with the technical staff exception.
No surprises then in discovering that, after the first three days of matches, one of the absolute characters of the Mendoza event was the well known colombian talent
John Pinilla, who's taking part in the tournament while his FIFA futsal club
Arzignano Grifo is already working for the imminent season beginning. Pinilla is the current top scorer of the AMF World Cup with 10 goals.
