Gödöllö go down to Municipium

Futsal Club Gödöllö failed to press their advantage with a 5-1 defeat against KMF Municipium Casino Pljevlja leaving Group 4 wide open heading into the final matchday.

Dramatic defeat
The Hungarian mini-tournament hosts could have grabbed one of the two berths in October's Elite round with a win against their Montenegrian opponents but came undone in dramatic style, trailing 3-1 at the interval and losing 5-1. Meanwhile Greek side Athina '90 Athens, beaten 6-2 by Gödöllö on the opening day, lost 9-1 against Futsal Topsport Antwerpen, who are now level with Municipium on four points at the top of the section, with the two sides having drawn 2-2 in their opening fixture. Municipium meet Athina '90 on Tuesday while Gödöllö meet Futsal Topsport Antwerpen.
