Men’s futsal team established

The Viet Nam Football Federation has asked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to approve the national men’s futsal (indoor football) team list in preparation for the Asian Indoor Games, to be held in Macao from October 26 to November 3.

From the list 19 players will be selected. The national coach will be Nguyen Van Long, the only coach with a futsal certificate in Viet Nam.

Viet Nam to compete 12 events in Asian indoor games

Viet Nam will compete in 12 out of 19 events in the Asian Indoor Games 2, to be held in Macao next month.

The country aims to win one gold, five silver, and nine bronze medals.

The official list of athletes, coaches and group leader will be sent to the event’s organising board tomorrow.
