Futsal sky rockets to Cyprus!!

Great news from Cyprus!! The Cyprus Football Association has not only officially accepted the newly founded Cyprus Futsal Teams Association but has also agreed to have an active member to the National Futsal Committee.

This is probably one of the brightest days in Cyprus Futsal History and Futsal is looking forward to develop in this tiny island with big Futsal Heart!!!

The newly elected Association president Dr Vik Atamian is the person who was chosen to represent the Futsal Clubs with the committee and he is expected to bring to the table all the issues that most Futsal Clubs are demanding since many years.

The Club initiative to form the Cyprus Futsal Teams Association was the key to this success and without any doubt the game of Futsal is expected to move forward.

There are currently 30 teams registered in the 3 divisions that Cyprus Football Association administer, with the 2007-2008 leagues to start in approximately 10 days.
