Three cities for an unforgettable event. The Brazilian futsal federation has just communicated the host venues for the
World Futsal Cup 2008 to be played in Brazil. The country capital
Brazilia (DF), the catarinense
Jaraguá do Sul and the carioca
Rio de Janeiro. The Distrito Federal city was therefore the last place to be confirmed, after Jaraguà Do Sul and Rio de Janeiro, winning the fierce competition of
Fortaleza and
Goiânia.
Also, Brazilia will host the World Cup draw to be held in August 2008, as well as the tournament opening match.
Twelve match of the first round will be played in the
Ginásio Nilson Nelson, that will share this tournament stage with the
Arena Jaraguá.
