Chinese Futsal team has started a new training camp from Oct.5 to 24 in Chengdu preparing for the imminnent futsal tournament included in the second Asian Indoor games. This is the second time that China is sending futsal team to this big event for none-olympic sports games.

However, there are men's and women's futsal tournament in the games, China seems to send only the men's team to this tourney at the end of October in Macau.

In order to better organize this training camp, Chinese Football Association(CFA) signed a two months contract with the brazilian coach Farinha to stage the coaching sector for the Chinese Futsal team. Farinha coached the China side for two weeks in August before the first China international futsal friendlies with Japan and Chinese Taipei.
During the three-weeks training camp, there will be two foreign futsal teams both from Vikings Futsal Association in Australia and New Zealand coming over to Chengdu to have a tournament with Chinese teams One of the local league futsal team participates in this tournament as well on Oct. 16-18.

China is in the group D in the coming Asian Indoor Games with Tajikstan, Qatar, Kuwait, Timor-Leste for the last Asian Indoor games, China was ranking the fourth in the men's futsal tournament.
