National team members receives 500AZN

AFFA awarded the national futsal team members who won the international tournament in Izmir, Turkey. AFFA secretary general Elkhan Mammadov held meeting with futsal team officials and members.

The Secretary-general congratulated the players on behalf of AFFA president Ramiz Mirzayev, wishing them luck in the next matches.
He also stressed the importance of the 2008 world championship qualifying round and recommended to mobilize recourses to advance to the next stage.

In his turn Zaur Akhundov extended his gratitude to AFFA leadership for care and attention towards futsal team. The futsal team members received 500 AZN each one in the meeting.

Azeri futsal team won the tournament, beating Holland(4:3), England(10:0) and Turkey(5:4) teams.
