First place is hard to hold onto in the 2007 GFA Bud Light Women's Futsal League -- just ask anyone on Team Hyundai, whose record was a league-leading 5-1-0 going into yesterday's game at the Guam sports complex gym in Harmon.

Hyundai took a 3-1 defeat at the hands and feet of the Orange Crushers. Alex McGourty did most of the damage, scoring a pair of goals for the Crushers. Simie Willter added an insurance goal.

With the win, the Crushers (6-1-0) recapture sole possession of first place as the regular season play wraps up. Playoffs begin Sunday.

Shana Spindel scored the lone goal for Hyundai.

Other results yesterday:
Guam Shipyard 4, Guahan.com 0: Ginalynn Naburn had two goals, and Victoria Shimizu also scored for Shipyard.

Paintco Strykers 4, Pacificare Tigers 1: The Strykers (4-1-2) were led by Rhoda Bamba and Aubrey Posadas who both scored twice.

Quality 4, Bombers 1: Aubrey Okada, Vanessa Quinata, Sara Pleadwell and Amy Yasuhira scored for Quality (2-4-1), while Fumi Marquez connected for the Bombers.

League official Angel McBeain provided the information.
