1st Day Report

The Hellenic Premiere League started its season last night with several close games. Olimpiada A.P. started the season with an important win at Kosmos V.P. 1-2. The guests managed to score twice with Panou and Delaportas, capturing a vital win to begin the season.
Athina ’90 got the win at Salamina where they struggled last year 7-12, mainly leaded by the youngster Ziakas who scored 4 goals.

Ilioupoli had no trouble overcoming the ambitious Minotavros 4-1, with Morfesis scoring twice. Platon had an easy afternoon with the newcomers Aris Virona beating them 18-8 with Argyris and Kavvadias scoring 4 goals each to lead the their team, while Tsakanikas tallied 5 for the guests.

Doukas managed to come away with an important win at Gerakas 2-3 at a difficult surface field where many teams have trouble playing their game. Goalkeeper Christos Achis was vital to the win which marks the first in Alkis Vandoros’ career as head coach. Finally Ethnikos Asteras and Iniohos got stuck in a 7-7 tie, with Priftis scoring three goals for the home team.
