Taking part in the II South American Women Futsal Championship in Guayaquil (Ecuador), the Colombian Women National team will make its absolute debut on the futsal stage, after missing the first tournament edition in Barueri (Brazil).

The Colombian girls were drawn in group A with Brazil and Argentina (Paraguay as well was expected to attend the mentioned group, but according to the latest news they won't take part in the south american event).
