Romania pick familiar faces

The Romania coach Zoltán Jakab has named his 14-man squad for the UEFA European Futsal Championship in Porto.

Deva dominance
Continuity has been the key for Jakab, who has based the squad around the CIP Deva club team that he also coaches - only Energo Craiova goalkeeper Cãtãlin Rizan and CS Odorheiu Secuiesc duo Zoltán Mihaly and László Szöcs are not on the books at Deva. Romania meet Czech Republic, Italy and hosts Portugal in Group A.
