Since past monday 12th, the Italian National team moved to Portugal, beeing the first between the seven Portugal opponents.
Head Coach Alessandro Nuccorini called on 18 players, and will therefore evaluate the physical conditions of some of them before providing UEFA with the definitive 14 men roster.

From the preliminary list of 20 players the goalkeeper Angelini (who had to renounce due to familiar matters) and the Luparense's Vampeta were not included in the Portuguese travel. Nuccorini will now wait until the final day (November 15th), due to the uncertain conditions of key players like Patrick, Seco, Carlinhos and Vinicius.

All Italy's matches in the first stage will be broadcasted live through the satellitar channel Rai Sport Sat.
