Under 16s Futsal Tournament
The 1st North East England Futsal Cup is taking place on 6th January at the University of Teesside so if you are part of an under 16s football team, or a 5-a-side team that fancies their chances at winning the biggest football competition of its kind in the North East, then go to http://www.borofutsal.co.uk for all the information. There are some great prizes up for grabs (including TFM Sweet guest list), t-shirts and goody bags for everyone, plus trophies and medals for the winners.


Membership (still chance to win a holiday!)
Middlesbrough Futsal Club membership for 2007/2008 is now open. Members will receive a goody pack, FREE entry to all home games plus will be kept up to date with news of trials, fixtures and tournaments. You will also receive a free T-shirt to wear to show your support at our matches plus 20% off all Boro Futsal Merchandise. It's a great way to support your local team while also benefitting from a range of discounts in Middlesbrough. We have confirmed that Guido's and Al Forno in Middlesbrough will offer members 10% discount on production of the membership card and we will announce any more as soon as we get them signed up! If you get your membership in by this FRIDAY 30th November (not only saving yourself £3 match fee on Saturday morning) you will be entered into the draw for a holiday with the first team to Czech Republic, or £100 cash. You can download the membership form from the BoroFutsal website. (please note the new prices below are not yet added to the new membership form.)

*If you become an adult member for £25 all your match fees in the Tees Valley Futsal League (14 x £3) will be free. You will also get all the benefits of being a member of the club, such as discounts in local shops


gigaNIKE Cup 2008, Czech Republic
The annual tournament in Brno, Czech Republic will take place from 24-28 January. Boro are taking a team over to warm up for 2008. If you want to come along you need to get a deposit in by Thursday 29th November at 6pm. The total cost of the trip will be around £150, depending on price of flights. A deposit of £60 is needed by Thursday in order to confirm your place and take advantage of cheaper flights. Once the flights are booked the final price will be known. Everybody is welcome, as the trip is not only a good futsal tournament, but a great social weekend. I'll be in the Students' Union from 4pm til 6pm on Thursday so you can bring it to me then.


Tees Valley Futsal League
The new season of the FA Futsal Cup starts this weekend. Boro have two teams (A and B) playing for a place in the FA Futsal Cup finals. The season will last for 14 matches and the games take place on a Saturday morning between 9 and 12. For kick off times, which will be confirmed 5 days in advance go to BoroFutsal.co.uk and click on Tees Valley Futsal League. If you want to get involved with the league, email the club (info@borofutsal.co.uk) and your interest will be registered incase of a team dropping out or being disqualified. Come down this Saturday for 11am for Boro's first match of the season.


Match fee for the league is £3 per player, OR FREE for members of Boro Futsal, which costs £25.


Pro Evo tournament 2 (tomorrow, Wednesday)
After the success of the first Pro Evo tournament in Aruba on PES 6, we are now hosting a PES 2008 tourney on the XBOX 360. You can enter on the website, entry is £5 and the cash prize will be determined once numbers are in. The top 8 teams will receive guest list entry to Onyx Rooms and the runners up will win a crate of beer too. To get a team in (it's doubles again), email us at info@borofutsal.co.uk.
