2007 Taipei Youth Futsal Tournament took place in Taipei's Nan-Gang Gymnasium from Oct.10 to Nov.11.2007

The tournament was jointly organised by the Ministery of Sports and the Taipei Education Department.

Teams in U10 (14 teams) and U12 (16 teams) categories competed 8 weeks for the titles.

It was interesting that Taipei-SCSC and ChinChan met in both finals.
During the tournament, both teams showed a higher level of technical and tactical Futsal, superior to the rest of the teams.

In U10 category ChinChan won the title beating Taipei-SCSC 6 : 2
While in U12 category Taipei-SCSC beat ChinChan 5 : 2 to became Champions.

Most Valuable Player of the tournament was Can Kale (Taipei-SCSC No.20) who in the quarter-final match took place of his injured Goalkeeper and than went on to score 2 individual goals!

This tournament has once again shown that the talent is there. It is up to the local FA to support the young futsal talents.

Meanwhile, for further improve the level of futsal and to gain more experience, Taipei-SCSC and ChinChan are reportedly planning to travel to China to play matches in 2008, and welcome any invitation to International Youth Tournaments.
