In the middle of December, in order to inaugurate the incoming new futsal season in Qatar, was played a friendly game between the Qatari National team coached by the brazilian Rubio Guerra and a selection of the best professional players of the national league first division.

The event, which took place in the Al-Araby indoor hall, registered the clear victory of the league selection by 6-1.

The professional players squad had the game in full control, especially thanks to the best players coming from Egypt, as well as from Iran and Morocco (including the former spanish plata division and primera nacional division player Fouad Amrani).
