The brand new edition of the Recopa Cup is taking shape day after day. The 2008 tournament won't include a preliminary round, as happened in the past season, but will "immediately" celebrate the final stage in the end of January.

The prestigious european event dedicated to the National Cup Winners will start on January 24th, with the final act of the event scheduled on January 27th at 19.00

The tournament is organized this year by the Serbian football association in collaboration with the Union of Serbian futsal clubs and the host club Koska Nis.

The Recopa Cup 2008 will therefore take place in Nis (Serbia), and will count on the spanish couple Lobelle De Santiago (title holder) and Interviu Fadesa (Cup Winner), as well as the kazakh side Aqtobe BTA and the italian club Icobit Montesilvano. The fifth club will be represented by the local side and tournament host Koska Nis, while the "final" place is yet to be assigned, with two well known names of european futsal like Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine) and Charleroi Action 21 (Belgium) fighting for it.

All matches will be played in the impressive Cair hall, which can offer the maximum amount of 6500 seats.
