Interesting news from Costa Rica. As reported us by Carlos Quiros (Costa Rican National team head coach - FIFA futsal) since 2008 only "one futsal" will be played in the country thanks to the historical agreement between both Costa Rican Futsal Committees (the one, AFUSCO, affiliated to CONCACAF and FIFA and their former "enemies" of FECOFUS belonging to the C.P.F.S./ AMF body).

The mentioned agreement went "in favour" of the FIFA Futsal committee, which will therefore become the only "official" futsal body in Costa Rica.
