Maldives SoccerClub Maldives to introduce U13 futsal Club Maldives (CM) famous for conducting one of the biggest futsal tournaments in the nation gears up to add under 13 category in their next edition. Previously the tournament only targets teams from government offices and companies will have the new edition in their next tournament that is scheduled to kick off in April.
One team from each school will participate in the under 13 category, according to Club Maldives. Champion team will receive a cash prize of MRF 15,000 and the runners up will receive MRF 7000 in the tournament, which is divided into six groups and two rounds will be played.
Teams that reached the quarter finals of last year tournament are seeded for this year and they are; Airports company, Customs, MPA, Environment Ministry, MTCC and Civil Court.
If any participating team that don't have a first division player may include one, but only one such player can be on the field at a time.
Airports Company won last year's tournament beating Custom that had national team strikers Ali Umar and Ibrahim Fazeel.
