Josè Maria Pazos Mendez, universally known in futsal as Pulpis moved yesterday to Bangkok and immediately after to Kuala Lumpur in order to "have a look" at his new team: the Thai National team, currently involved in the Kl World 5's tournament. The information was confirmed by the thai squad manager Maricar M Iqbal and by Pulpis himself. The first agreement is until the end of June, depending its renewal on the team performance, looking for a place in the next World Cup 2008 in Brazil. This is the second "foreign" experience for the former Lobelle and Barcel Euro's coach, after half season spent with the croatian side Promet Orkan Zagreb, conquering the national cup.

The current thai coach Pattaya Piemkum will therefore keep on working in the thai selection as assistant coach.

As communicated by the Thai Futsal Committee, Pulpis will be responsible for the National A Team and also oversee coaching and youth development programmes. On the other hand Piemkum will look over the B Team and report to Pulpis in this area.
