In other news Limerick 37 made a highly impressive Futsal debut over the weekend.

The Limerick 37 Futsal team, during two introductory games in UL on Sunday, beat Cork City (6-5) and Waterford (6-1).

The side, which is managed by Mike McCarthy, will now take part in the Futsal League which will take place in UL over the next four weeks – Limerick 37 open their campaign in UL this Sunday at 12pm.
Last year Shamrock Rovers won the tournament and went on to represent Ireland in the European championships.
