Worrying news for the brazilian futsal star
Falcão and his club
Malwee/Jaraguà, as well as for the canarinhos selection looking towards the World Championship eagerly awaited event.
As known in the last days
CBFS could suspend Falcão due to the fact that the Malwee's craque took part, on past November 20th - 2007, in a friendly match wearing the
Corinthians shirt vs the argentinian side
Pinocho. The event was organized as a support day in favour of the Olympic Futsal campaign, and the "affair" comes from the fact that the paulista star didn't ask to CBFS the needed authorization to do that.
According to
UOL Esporte this happening also determined a "war" between Malwee and FPFS, fighting to point out who's responsible and who has to pay.
If considered "guilty" the Malwee's flank could be punished with a 30 days suspension as minimum amount, beeing six months (180 days) the worst option. That would mean losing the Intercontinental Cup event (next April in Granada, Spain), the main goal focused by Malwee for the
"epoca" 2008. Also, it would not be a great "introduction" to the 2008 World Cup in Brazil, for sure.
A final decision on this matter will be taken between March 4th and 11th in Fortaleza.
