FAI and IDSA announce Deaf Football Inter Provincial tournament

1. Men's 11-a-side Football Tournament: This event will see the four provincial teams going head to head on Saturday 22nd March in the grounds of Salthill Devon FC.

2. Women's Futsal Tournament: This tournament is open to deaf women over 15 years of age. The event will take place at the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT).The competition will take place on Saturday 22nd of March from 1pm to 6pm with the finals to be held on Sunday 23rd March from 1pm to 6pm.

3. Men's Futsal Tournament: This tournament is open to deaf men from the age of 16 plus interested in playing the game and getting involved in the first ever regional league in Ireland. The event will take place in GMIT on Sunday 23rd March from 1pm to 6pm.

With this year seeing the first Men's International Futsal Team compete in the Deaf Futsal World Cup in Bulgaria, it is hoped that the Futsal tournaments will lead to a women and men's regional leagues among the deaf community across Ireland.
