The new Andorran futsal era characterized by the appointment of Josep Linares on the national team bench is going to experience its first hard task in Pescara (Italy), where Andorra will face the azzurri side, as well as Cyprus and Kazakhstan in the UEFA qualifiers group 8.

Linares will call on the Don Denis (FC Andorra, spanish "primera nacional A" division group 5 current runner up, coached by the former andorran national team head coach Carles Riba) players experience: names like Cabinho (brazilian naturalized), Jorge Dias, Miquel Blazquez and Talin are a guarantee for the national standards.

Linares told that the psychological moment of the team is good, having won 3 of 4 matches played since his appointment, though the Andorran players are definitely aware of their limits when facing top selections like the Italian one.

The main aim, looking for the tournament in Pescara, is to overcome Cyprus, making life hard for Kazakhstan and trying not to suffer a heavy defeat against the azzurri.

Linares underlined that not many tactical aspects changed between his management and the previous one by Carles Riba, trying to arrange a good defense and take advantage from the counter attacks chances. The coach himself is trying to adapt his work to the new situation, "switching" from the 100% winning times with FC Encamp to the development and improvement work with Andorra.
