As reported by
Angola Press in the past week, nine nations will attend the
African Futsal Championship scheduled to start in Tripoli (Libya) on next March 21st. It would mean a great improvement for the CAF futsal standard, though the previous experience suggest to wait until the last minute before knowing the real number of participants. Two new entries,
Zambia and
Cameroon, will take part, while
Nigeria is back after their unique appearance in the Hong Kong World Cup 1992.
Madagascar, that was supposed to play in a first moment, renounced to take part in the qualifier.
According to the latest informations the involved countries in the continental event are:
-> Angola
-> South Africa
-> Nigeria
-> Zambia
-> Cameroon
-> Egypt
-> Morocco
-> Mozambique
-> Libya
