Great news for futsal lovers! Also Denmark finally did the "big step" towards our great sport and moved to the official version of the five-a-side discipline after experiencing a different kind of indoor soccer since 1994 to 2004. On past February 16th and 17th in Kalundborg Hallerne took place the final stages of both women and men leagues. Fortuna Hjørring claimed the title in the women competition, while the day after Albertslund IF were crowned as first ever Danish champions and could therefore join the next UEFA Futsal Cup, if the local federation will allow the club to take part in it.

No need to say that Futsalplanet.com will stay by Danish Futsal side, trying to help (though with our little chances!) its development through our portal. Futsal lovers and expert from Denmark are more than welcome in collaborating with us!
