Tulare seeking young indoor-soccer players

Tulare’s recreation department is seeking boys and girls for its second season of Futsal, the five-on-five, indoor soccer game played on a hard court.

Described as a sport of “no walls, just skills,” Futsal is played with no sidewalls and is recognized as the world’s indoor game by FIFA, the world’s soccer ruling body.

Participants must be 9-12 years old and will be divided by a program supervisor to ensure balanced teams.

Registration fee: is $20. The registration deadline is March 21 and games will begin April 13.
