That was not expected. Just few days before the beginning of the Liga Futsal 2008 one of the top brazilian and gaucho clubs, Cortiana/UCS/AFF experienced important changes in the staff as well as in the plantel.

The management group of the club, which moved this summer from Caxias Do Sul to Farroupilha, decided to fire the head coach Serginho, together with the masseur Raul Adami. As "temporary option" Sérgio Lacerda will be the first team coach but the club will be a new name soon, to be appointed in a six options list.

Also, one of the best brazilian and worldwide goalkeepers like Angelo (Angelo Travi Guerra) left the team due to personal reasons and could end his futsal career.
