Lagos Hosts Futsal Seminar

A two-day seminar on Futsal and Beach Soccer will hold in Lagos from March 14-15 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
The event, which is being organised by the Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) is part of the preparation towards the commencement of Futsal and Beach Soccer league in the country.
According to the NFA Assistant Secretary General (technical), Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme the seminar is designed to equip referees, match commissioners and administrators with the necessary tools for a successful takeoff of the league in Nigeria.
“Futsal and Beach Soccer are relatively new in Nigeria and the best way to quicken their development is the country. We are developing the leagues so that Nigeria will not be left behind. We cannot start leagues for Beach Soccer and Futsal without sensitising Nigerians, especially those who would be practically involved in the implementation of the rules of the game,” he said.
