ABDB Futsal And Shah Utd Reach Second Round

Bandar Seri Begawan - ABDB Futsal and Shah Utd A were the final two teams to join 12 other teams in the second round of the National Futsal Championship organised by BAFA and Brunei Muara District Football Association after the final group matches last night at the Multi Purpose Hall of Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium Complex.

ABDB Futsal became the first team in the tournament to obtain maximum points from their four matches and topped the group. Coming in second in the group were Shah Utd A with nine points.

In third place were Legend FC with six points, whilst DSB and Bio Pulse were in fourth and fifth place, both with one point.

The other 12 teams that have qualified for the next round are Salambigar 'B' Maulana FT from group C; UBD 'A' and Salambigar 'A' from group E; Com Utd 'A' and Family FT from group F; MBS Utd 'Y' and MJ FC group G; Ourteam and Zinzan Futsal from group A; and Com Utd `B' and UBD 'B' from group D.

The next round will be held on March 7 (this Friday) as teams’ battle for places in the quarterfinals. The matches will be held at the same venue.
