Futsal team prepared for Asian championships

The national futsal team has registered to compete in the qualifying rounds for the Asian Championships-2008 in Malaysia from March 26-30.

The team had the first training session with their Thai coach Pattaya Piemkum on March 13 to prepare for the competition.

The national team will play the host’s national team on the first day of competition.

The matches follow a round-the-robin format where the two best teams from each group will play in the final rounds in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 11-18.
