Cyprus league: ready for an exciting ending!

This week the Cyprus premier league is coming to an end. Parnassos is facing the very dangerous team of G.C School, beeing in need of just one point to conquer the championship and take the throne from the reigning champions Ararat to whom they lost last week 7-2. Ararat’s win was impressive and brought back to its players and fans the hope that they will be finishing first, in the eventuality that G.C School decides to make an early Christmas Gift to Ararat. The Vahakn Atamyan's club is facing Omonoia and is expected to win. On the other hand we have to remind that G.C School, reigning Cup holders, lost all 3 games to Parnassos during the current season, though with not at all convincing scores (2-1, 2-4, 2-1), which is the prove of the good level of G.C School side, one reason to hope for Ararat. Definitely a breath taking ending for the Cypriot league!

Parnassos (48 points) and Ararat (45 pts) through the recent years have become the dominant powers in Cyprus Futsal. Their games are now considered as something "classic", the eagerly expected events of Cyprus futsal, not to be missed. The champion will represent Cyprus to the Uefa Futsal Cup next season.
