Final round of Junior PCYC Futsal

THE final round of the Junior divisions of Futsal were played last Thursday night with a couple of surprise but well deserved results. In Division three Kewell Kats have been threatening a turn around over the last couple of rounds and could not have done it at a better time with semi finals to be played this Thursday. Kewell Kats defeated the Jets in a cracker of a game 2 goals to 1 and in the other division three game MGM accounted for The Boys 7 goals to 2 and are now favourites to progress through to the Grand Final in two weeks.
In division two Main Game continued there good form with a 3 – 1 result against Ghetto Smurfs, Bruisers had a good hit out for the semis accounting for the Cherry Chicks 11 goals to nil and Ace Strikers surprising the Tellie Tubbies 10 -1 to cement the final spot in the division two semi’s.

In what will be a return match this Thursday The BJC Boys hung on to defeated an improving Tree Huggin Hippies team 3 – 2 and this match up in the semi’s for division one could be the match of the night. Sold Ya Kittens finished the rounds with an awesome display of goal scoring running over the top of a valiant PCYC team 18 goals to one, Sold Ya Kittens now play the Bad Girls in the other division one semi final.

Just a reminder that the Grand Final night for the Futsal will be played in two weeks time due to the Sports Council dinner due to many of the boys and girls in attendance on this great night. Also please check the draw for the senior and junior times for Thursday night and good luck to all teams involved.
