After the recent appointment of the new head coach Aleksander Petrov, the national futsal team of Uzbekistan travelled towards Naples (Italy) in order to stage a training camp as well as playing some friendly matches against local clubs. The choice was given by the good relations between the Argentinan coach of Napoli Vesevo (Italian serie A2, group B) Vicente De Luise with the management staff of the Uzbek Futsal Committee. Uzbekistan played the first match vs a regional (Campania region) league club Real Macerone (only 20 minutes, winning 4-0), while today faced the second division club Napoli Vesevo losing by 3-2. The italian journey will be closed by the game against the first division club Napoli. Those training sessions are obviously scheduled looking for the AFC Qualifiers set to take place in Bangkok on next May.
