Alarab On lineHeads of African Soccer Associations visit LibyaThe Libyan Leader received on Saturday Presidents of African National Football Associations, who are on visit to Libya so as to attend the fourth African Futsal Championship.
The African Futsal Championship serves as an African preliminary for the World Futsal Championship that will be held in Brazil at the end of the year.
The Leader of the September first Revolution urged the presidents of the African Associations to cultivate talents of the African continent and draw attention to them at the international level.
Leader Muammer Gaddafi also called upon the presidents to bear their responsibilities and emphasize that FIFA is an international body and not the property of certain party, state or group of states.
Leader Gaddafi stressed that no one has the right to monopolize or exploit FIFA, or willfully adapt it.
Presidents of African National Football Associations emphasized that the leader's discourse during this meeting will be a work course.
The meeting was attended by the President of the Libyan Football Association, President of African Football Associations who expressed hope that African governments will set off support for football in Africa.
President of the Associations called on the Libyan Leader to recommend African presidents during forthcoming African Union summits to provide different type of assistance to African football associations.
