Indonesia beats Qatar 6-1

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesia`s futsal national squad again booked a victory after beating the Qatar`s national team 6-1 in a qualification round of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Futsal Cup.

The match was held in the Matsushita Sports Center, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia on Saturday afternoon.

"The success in the game is inseparable from the goals made by Ahmad Syahbani (two), Jaelani Lanjanibi, Topas Wiyantoro, M. Ihsan and Deny Handoyo," Assistant Manager of the Indonesia`s Team Ricky Johanes said when contacted from here on Saturday.

With the victory, he said, Indonesia had collected six points, while Macau was recorded to have pocketted points.

On the last match, held on Sunday, Indonesia will have to meet with Kuwait and Macau is scheduled to challenge Brunei Darussalam, he added.

Indonesia is in the Group B.
