The AFC.comJapan set Ukraine futsal friendly TOKYO – Japan will warm-up for the 2008 AFC Futsal Championship finals with a friendly double-header against Ukraine in early May, the Japan Football Association (JFA) has announced.
The first match is scheduled to take place on May 1 at the World Hall in Hyogo before the action shifts to Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Stadium three days later.
The AFC Futsal Championship finals will take place in Bangkok from May 11 to 18 and second-seeds Japan, who finished runners-up in the 2007 edition to Iran, and the 14 other competing nations will be grouped at the tournament draw, which will be held in the Thai capital on April 11.
