Honiara Futsal Prepares for Solomon Games in Auki

The coach of the Honiara Futsal Team, Simon Dyer said that his boys are preparing hard for the upcoming Solomon Games to take place in Malaita's provincial capital, Auki.
Returning only recently from Auki, Mr. Dyer told Solomon Times that for futsal, "while it's still to be finalized, competitions will be in the Aligegeo field".

He said that according to Auki Futsal Committee Chairman, Jasper Olita, "preparations are in place for the mid-year games."

Mr. Dyer said that NOCSI had announced that the date for the Solomon Games will be on 23rd June.

He added that hosts for this year's Solomon Games, the people in Auki are hard at work in preparing the venues.

When asked if his boys are looking forward to competing in the coming games in Auki, he said that his boys will try and perform to the best of their ability.
