International tournament in Cyprus: successful event

Futsal News and Cyprus Futsal, the most important portals for futsal in Cyprus successfully organized a two day international event. The tournament took place in the Sporting Futsal Center of Nicosia with the participation of AOE (Cyprus), OMONOIA (Cyprus), PAGYPRIOS(Cyprus) and GYPAETOI(Greece).

This was the first International tournament ever held in Cyprus and the main objective was to bring together Greek and Cyprus Futsal, in order to create the potential for a future cooperation. Andreas Mikellides (Futsal News) was the person behind the initiative and mentioned to us the need for such events between countries which brings together Futsal in other dimensions. He also promised that this is just the beginning of events like that, and he called on all clubs to follow the example and act in the same way in future, bringing international teams to the island.
