MILWAUKEE WAVE ROLLS TO PERFECT 3-0 MARK IN 2002-03 MISL
The Milwaukee Wave improved to a perfect 3-0 mark in the 2002-03 Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Western Conference standings with a 23:8 road win over the Kansas City Comets (0-2) on October 12.

The Dallas Sidekicks (2-2) currently trail the Wave by a 1.5 games after earning a split of a two-game series at home. The Sidekicks posted a 16:10 victory over the visiting Harrisburg Heat (1-2) on Oct. 12, while the next day the Baltimore Blast (2-1) handed the host Sidekicks a 13:9 defeat. The Blast rebounded after dropping a heartbreaking 10:9 decision on the road to the Cleveland Force (1-2) on Oct. 11, while in another match-up the Heat scored a 13:7 win over the host San Diego Sockers (1-2).

Rounding out the MISL action, was the Philadelphia Kixx improving to 2-1 in the Eastern Conference standings with a 13:5 victory over the visiting Force on Oct. 13.

Next round of MISL regular season matches will feature the San Diego Sockers visiting the Cleveland Force on Oct. 18 and then the Kansas City Comets the following day. The Dallas Sidekicks travel to meet the Philadelphia Kixx on Oct. 19, while the Baltimore Blast host the Milwaukee Wave.

U.S. FUTSAL NATIONAL TEAM PLAYER POOL IN MISL ACTION ON OCT. 11-13
Baltimore Blast - Forward Lee Tschantret (6 goals, 12 caps) and goalkeer Scott Hileman (1 cap) each had an assist in the 10:9 loss to Cleveland on Oct. 11. Hileman also added nine saves in loss in net. Tschantret had two goals and Hileman made five saves in the 13:9 win over Dallas on Oct. 13. ... Cleveland Force - Defender John Ball (6 caps) notched a goal in the 10:9 victory over Baltimore on Oct. 11. Forward Steve Butcher had a tally in the 13:5 loss ton Philadelphia on Oct. 13. ... Harrisburg Heat - Tallies by defenders Chris Morman (1 goal, 1 cap) and Matt Tanzani (4 caps) paced the squad to a 13:7 victory over San Diego on Oct. 11. Netminder Doug Petras (9 caps) had 23 saves in goal for the win. ... Kansas City Comets - Forwards Nate Houser (0 caps) scored twice, while teammate Wes Wade (9 goals, 13 caps) added an assist in the 23:8 loss to Milwaukee on Oct. 12. ... Milwaukee Wave - Defender Greg Howes (2 caps) scored a pair of goals and an assist, while forward Todd Dusosky (1 goal, 5 caps) added a goal and three assists to pace Milwaukee to a 23:8 win over Kansas City on Oct. 12. Midfielders Leighton O'Brien (1 cap) and Johnny Torres (1 goal, 2 caps) eached added a tally, while goalkeeper Victor Nogueira (16 caps) made 12 saves for the win. ...
