AFC Futsal Championship 2008 qualifying match in action
KUALA LUMPUR: Indonesia and Kuwait scraped through to the AFC Futsal Championship 2008 finals from Group B after the final qualifying matches on Sunday at the Matsushita Stadium here.

Indonesia defeated Kuwait 1-0 to top the group after Macau beat Brunei Darussalam by the same scoreline.
Achmad Syaibani was the hero for the Indonesians after slamming in the only goal of the match in the ninth minute.

Chong Kun Kan was on target for Macau against Brunei.

Earlier, Malaysia and Chinese Taipei qualified from Group A for the May 11-18 main competition in Bangkok.
The draw will be held on April 11, 2008, at 1400 hours at the Radisson Hotel. The top four teams in this year’s championship will represent Asia at the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Brazil in October 2008.
Iran won the 2007 edition after beating hosts Japan.
