Second title! UFC Münster e.V. is back on the top of German futsal after celebrating the first ever edition triumph on past April 2006. Looking for a sports redemption, after leaving the past season title to FV Eppelborn, the futsal club of the Westfälischen Wilhelm-Universität Münster claimed the DFB Futsal Cup 2008 title obtaining the prestigious victory in the final act of the tournament. That was the only "100% futsal game" played, as the rest of the whole tournament was played through matches composed of only one half of 20 minutes: let's hope this formula is going to change as this competition qualifies for the UEFA Futsal Cup and should therefore follow the official laws of the game. UFC Münster e.V. proved to be again the best german club, overcoming TSC Stuttgart 2001 by 6-3 in the final match.
