Marblehead FC ends the futsal season undefeated

Futsal is a popular form of indoor soccer played without walls and with the emphasis on improvisation, creativity and technique, and nobody did it better than the Marblehead FC U-14 team this past winter.

Played at the American Futbolito facility in Danvers, the A-level competition was formidable, but the team of Mike Brenan, Danny Plunkett, Rudy Mukania, Harry Simbliaris, Chris Laughlin, Jordan Calixto, Doug Levine and Ryan McLaughlin gelled quickly to form a team having a solid and effective offensive punch backed by quick and responsive defensive play.

After winning the indoor season, the players are looking forward to continued success with their respective town travel teams in the upcoming outdoor season.
