As reported by Pasion Futsal through a previous article on Red Bolivia, the Bolivian Football Association is going to set up the first ever national futsal league in Santa Cruz, since next May 9th.
Jorge Justiniano, ANF (National Football Association) president, explained the national association action as a consequence of the FEBOLFUSA (Bolivian futsal committee affiliated to AMF) decision to keep on running their activities under the AMF organization (deleting in this way many years of discussion between Febolfusa and FBF).

The tournament, as mentioned will start on May 9th, with the different selections of the country associations taking part in it. From this tournament will also be selected the Bolivian National team roster that will attend the CONMEBOL qualifiers for Brazil 2008 World Cup.
