Kelson: "I'll leave Dinamo at the end of the season"interview by
Cedric Bouillon - Futsal EchoMoscow: Dinamo advance to the... consolation final. The week end news is given by the elimination of Dinamo Moscow UEFA Futsal Cup 2007-08 semifinal. Playing at home, the Russian club unable to revalidate their title, obtained in April 2007 while facing Boomerang Intervių.
"Conquering a double in Futsal Cup is an hard challenge" says Kelson, one of the main characters of the Charleroi Action 21 triumph in the 2004/05 edition.
"The other teams which entered the final four have enough qualities. Also, with this kind of opponents, everything can happen during a single match" On friday late afternoon Dinamo Moscow has not got again the same successful day of the previous year, when a Pula's late goal was the key to overcome Boomerang Interviu. In that day the genial Brazilian's goal, few seconds before the final whistle was enough. This time, four seconds before the extra time ending, Cirilo's terrific shot hit the post.
"This was not our lucky day. We had many opportunities to score but the ball didn't go in our favour. This happens a few times in futsal. Also, I must admit that our game lacked of movement. Our systematic search of the pivot has complicated our task and made easier the spaniards match, marking Cirilo. The key, anyway, is that we missed various opportunities to score and that would have take us to the final." Introduced as an army due to the massive presence of Brazilians in its roster, Dinamo Moscow has therefore missed an important goal: winning again the UEFA Futsal Cup. As a consolation, the Eremenko's club will celebrate again in the Russian Superleague.
"Dinamo is a great club, which start each competition in order to win it. This season we have already won the Russian championship with a larger time before the end, while it was not possible to reclaime the European crown. We will have now the opportunity to evaluate what was missing in the team once the final four is over." But the "Kelson file" is still open, as the brazilian should leave Dinamo at the end of the season.
"I still have a two-year contract with Dinamo however, currently, I have some problems with the coach. This has already been discussed at a meeting I had with the president, in the aim to find a way to rescind contract. I'm waiting for the management reply, even though it seems to me that this is going to be my last season with Dinamo Moscow".
