Fiji TimesReps fail to turn upTuesday, May 06, 2008THE Fiji FUTSAL side has suffered a number of setbacks as it prepares for the Oceania World Cup play-offs to be held in Suva next month.
Fiji Football Association FUTSAL secretary Jainendra Sukhu said not all players named in the training squad were not turning up.
"We have given them until this week and should the players continue to miss training than we will drop them," Sukhu said.
The sport is also facing problems securing venues for training.
"We haven't been able to secure a permanent venue for training as most of the venues are booked," he said.
There is yet no confirmation on whether Waitakere striker Roy Krishna will feature for Fiji, and coach Juan Carlos Buzzetti will have to work hard to get together a team which will pose a threat.
"I haven't got in touch with Krishna on his availability," Buzzetti said.
