For the first time in the Moldovan futsal story, one club was able to claim the National Cup twice in a row: that's the case of
Tornado Chisinau, recent winner over Rapid. It seemed to be a kind of replay of the past season final (

Tornado managed to celebrate the Cup triumph at the end of a dramatic penalty series.
Rapid began the match with no fear and scored first, while Tornado took back the initiative in the second half to equalize the score, then once again the penalties shoot out awarded Tornado. In a balanced final the main characters were Istrati (goalkeeper), Baesu and Druta from Tornado, while on the other side Hilotii and Coicev did their best for Rapid.
